After some extensive research online, through various vlogs and other resources I decided on testing Origins Modern Friction™ – Nature’s Gentle Dermabrasion. This because I was after something more powerful then a ordinary exfoliator together with using a product with less cemicals and other nasties you should not put on your skin! But most importantly, that I stumbled across this product after reading up on micro dermabrasion and dermabrasion treatments. Something that I always wanted to test.

Why I decided to try this product:
I’ve been prone to spots and which has been on and off for some time. The outbreaks are now calming down and appears less frequently and I was searching a solution that could help me speed up the skins cell renewal to try and get rid of marks after spots, and minimize both scars and pores. (This is where dermabrasion treatments or a chemical peel comes in to save the day – or your face!)

The results:
I’ve been using this product together with the Origins Brighter By Nature Skintone Correcting Serum for over a year now and it has become a staple in my bathroom cupboard and I use this religiously. The more you get into the habit of using this at the exact same days (two times a week) and using the method – which you should ask your origins skincare sales person to go through with you – if you decide to purchase this – the better results you see.

I’ve tested a micro dermabrasion together with a collagen mask at a Spa, however I feel and see that the results I get from Origins Modern Friction is as good and at this occasion even better then the Spa facial I got where they perfomed the micro dermabrasion. Therfore I wholeheartedly agree with te following statement:

“Origins tested Modern Friction™ on a panel of 54 women. After just one try, of those who had undergone clinical micro-dermabrasion, 94% said they would now consider using Modern Friction™ instead.”

The benfits I’ve seen within a few weeks:

• Clearer skin – more even tone
• Less prone to spots
• Scars reduce in size
• Your skin appears more smooth and with a nice glow
• The skin is smooth to the touch

I have not noticed my pores reduce in size though, however I am so happy I get a more even skin tone using the exfoliator and the serum in combination so this works very well for me.

I will continue to use this product rather then booking any further micro dermabrasion treatments because even though the price of the Origins products are a tad bit higher then any other mainstream products, it is still way cheaper then a micro dermabrasion – and more effective according to me!
